Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Miae pursued advanced studies in the arts before embarking on a multifaceted creative career that included music, performance and visual art. Her artistic journey has taken her internationally, including performances throughout major cities in the United States and Canada, giving her a deep appreciation for the way culture, architecture, art and environment influence how we experience a space.
For nearly two decades, Miae has applied that creative sensibility to the design of distinctive residences in the United States and abroad. Her work is guided not by a single prescribed style, but by the architecture, setting, and personality of each home. The result is interiors that feel sophisticated and refined while remaining warm, personal, and highly individual.

Her study of feng shui adds another dimension to her approach, bringing an awareness oof balance, proportion, flow, and the relationship between people and their surroundings. As an accomplished artist, Miae also has the unusual ability to create original, site-specific artwork as an integral part of an interior.
